Self-guided tours of the places film and television were shot, starting with Charleston. Every location is free to read on the website. The iOS app carries the day.
The problem
Anyone can find where Outer Banks or The Notebook was filmed. What nobody sells is the day: which stops are worth the drive, in what order, how long it takes, and whether the gate will let you through.
The solution
A Next.js site with every location, the scene shot there, and how to get in, free and indexable. An Expo and React Native app with routes ordered so they never double back, sorted by distance, and offline maps (MapLibre and PMTiles) for where there is no signal. The app is sold as an App Store in-app purchase. Supabase with row-level security behind both.
